Mom in Balance has a local legal entity in each country responsible for processing your personal data as described in this privacy statement. This statement applies to all Mom in Balance locations; find the exact legal entity, contact details and supervisory authority for your country on our FAQ page.

When you subscribe or make a purchase in the webshop, we process the personal data necessary to fulfill this agreement. This includes your name, address, payment details and subscription information. Personal data means information that can identify you as a person. We collect this data when you visit our website, use the Mom in Balance app, checkout in the webshop, use our services, or contact us.

Prefer not to share this data? We unfortunately cannot create a contract or invoice, process your webshop order or collect your subscription payment, so you cannot train with us. For some data, like your health information, we request your explicit consent (see below).

Your due date, birth date and health data are special personal data. We always request your explicit consent to process this. We use this data only to process subscription freezes and so your trainer can account for your situation during workouts. You can withdraw this consent anytime via your Member account.

Are you under 16? You need permission from your parents or legal guardian to use our services.

To use our services, we need the following data from you:

• Your name, so we and your trainer know who you are

• Your date of birth

• Your address details, for invoicing

• Your phone number, so we can contact you with questions

• Your email address, so we can reach you and send your app login details

• Your payment details, to collect your subscription fee

• Your due date and/or birth date during pregnancy, to process subscription freezes and so your trainer knows your stage

• Your health data, so your trainer can adapt to your situation during workouts

Via the app you manage your entire membership: from booking workouts to viewing invoices. Your name is visible to other participants in workouts you've booked; you can change this under 'My data'. You can also add and remove a profile photo.

Want to stop? You can delete your account via the app. We anonymize your data, except data we must legally retain (like invoices).

Mom in Balance partners with third parties on some locations, like health insurers or corporate fitness platforms, to offer member benefits. These partnerships vary by country. Find more information in the FAQ.

We sometimes use your data for market research. We do this anonymously and only internally; we never share your answers with third parties or make them public.

To keep you informed of offers, promotions and news, we send newsletters via email platforms (like Klaviyo, Mailchimp or Sender.net). You can easily unsubscribe from each newsletter.

Note: this doesn't apply to subscription-related emails like confirmations, payment reminders or workout changes. We always send these, even if you've unsubscribed from the newsletter, as they're needed for your subscription.

We don't retain your data longer than necessary for the purposes we collect it. We keep invoices and related administrative and payment data for 7 years per tax requirements. When your membership ends and you delete your account, we anonymize your other personal data (training history, scheduling data and communication preferences), except data we must keep longer per tax requirements.

We do everything we can to protect your personal data against loss, misuse or unauthorized access. We do this, among other things, by:

• Secured network connections (SSL or similar technology)

• Limiting access to data to employees who need it for their work

• Confidentiality agreements for all employees and trainers

Processors

We work with a number of carefully selected parties that process your data on our behalf, including our website builder, our administrative software provider, our payment provider, and Klaviyo for our email communication. We have a processor agreement with all of these parties: they receive only the data necessary for their service, use it exclusively according to our instructions and never for their own purposes.

Our website and app may contain links to other websites. We are not responsible for the content or privacy protection of these websites; therefore, always read their own privacy statement.

We use two types of cookies: functional cookies, which are necessary to make the website work (for example, remember your shopping cart or keep you logged in), and marketing cookies, with which we can show you relevant advertisements, for example. For marketing cookies, we always ask for your permission first via the cookie banner. You can always delete or disable cookies yourself via your browser settings.

If we make significant changes to this privacy statement, we will always notify you by email.

The data we collect from you is personal. Therefore, you have the following rights:

• You may ask us to view your data

• You may ask us to correct, restrict or delete your data

• You may ask us for a copy of your data; at your request, we can also transfer it directly to another party

• You may object to the processing of your data

• You may lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority (in the Netherlands: the Dutch Data Protection Authority), if you believe we are processing your data unlawfully

• You may always withdraw your consent for the processing of your data. From that point on, we will no longer process any data from you
