Reviews

I did the workouts once a week throughout my entire pregnancy, and now, at 36 weeks pregnant, I feel fitter than ever! And this is my third pregnancy! We'll see how my recovery after delivery goes, but I hope to be back for the Back in Shape workouts as soon as possible!

Joana - Zwanger Workout

Mom in Balance goes further than a regular outdoor bootcamp class by the way it's built around physical training, strength and guidance specifically for mothers. I was very impressed by their trainer, who helped me recover from diastasis after my third child's birth. With careful exercises and guidance I felt supported.

Mariam - Back in Shape

After training in all 3 categories, I know: this is so much more than just workouts. The training is challenging and fun, but it's also a community of like-minded women who strengthen and support each other, led by expert trainers. Almost 3 years later I'm still incredibly glad I found this tribe!

What makes Mom in Balance Lisbon special?

What makes Mom in Balance Lisbon special?

We train at five beautiful locations across Greater Lisbon: Jardim do Campo Grande, the city’s largest central garden, with its lake and shaded paths, and the romantic Jardim da Estrela, opposite the Basílica da Estrela. You can also find us among the greenery of Parque Morais in Parede. South of the river (Margem Sul), we train in the spacious Parque Urbano da Costa da Caparica next to the beach and in the peaceful, natural surroundings of the Casa da Biodiversidade in Verdizela. Our community includes Portuguese and international women, making Mom in Balance Lisbon a welcoming and diverse place to exercise together.

Frequently asked questions

  • At both Jardim do Campo Grande and Jardim da Estrela you'll find an esplanade (terrace/kiosk) in the park itself, perfect for a coffee after your workout.

  • Both parks are in busy city areas, so expect paid street parking in surrounding streets. Campo Grande is also easily accessible by metro (Green and Yellow lines).

  • Your baby is welcome in the stroller during training, as long as it's comfortable for you and your baby. Unsure if this works for your situation? Feel free to discuss it with your trainer.
